Due to the Memorial Day holiday, the Avery Research Center for African American History and Culture will be closed all day on Monday, May 26th and will reopen on Tuesday, May 27th.

BUILDING: We will be CLOSED to the public on the following days: May 8th, and 11th-15th. Virtual services will be available for researchers.

MUSEUM TOURS: We offer self-guided tours Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:30am-12pm and 2pm-3:30pm. Large groups limited 25 people or less per time slot.

ARCHIVES: Researchers must have a consultation BEFORE making a research appointment. Contact us in advance for further assistance.
