This week in the Avery Digital Classroom we will be hosting an interactive event entitled, She Got Game. She Got Game: Exploring the Disparities in Women’s Basketball is a panel discussion led by women athletes that will dive deeply into past, present, and future concerns in women’s basketball and offer a platform to current players and athletes who feel their voices are unheard. Featuring basketball greats such as Roberta Williams (Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame inductee), Special Jennings (head basketball coach at Montverde Academy), Nola Henry (support staff for the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun), and Quand Robinson-Thomas (award-winning producer for NBA TV) viewers will be able to engage with women whose love for the game of basketball continues throughout their professional careers. Register Here and can be viewed on our YouTube page here.
